United Nations Development Program and World Cup 2010
Mark Titus of August Island Pictures and Ryan Horner of PegLeg Pictures in collaboration with red jet films produced this pro-bono PSA for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to air during the World Cup. A score of wonderful friends and volunteers stepped forward to help make this happen.
It premiered Saturday, June 12, 2010 in Capetown, South Africa with Zidane and Prince Albert of Monaco unveiling it at a UN event for children.
"There are no Spectators, We are all Players" - a PSA for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). The piece is an anti-poverty TV spot appealing for the world to live up to the challenge and join the team that will beat poverty. It features soccer superstars and Goodwill Ambassadors Didier Drogba and Zinedine Zidane. The Ambassadors' portion was shot in Geneva. The rest of the spot was shot at Seattle's Qwest Field. The PSA will air throughout the World Cup and was produced entirely pro-bono.
